AI in Our Daily Lives: Data Privacy Issues

The Global Privacy Assembly (GPA) Is the largest international forum for sharing knowledge and information in the field of personal data protection and privacy, with 148 accredited member organizations participating from 95 countries. During the GPA, many heads and leaders of data protection authorities from around the world, as well as professionals and experts from academia, civil society, industry, and including representatives from big tech firms, gathered to engage in a broad range of discussions related to data protection and privacy issues.

The GPA in 2025 will be held in Seoul for four days between the 15-19th September. The overarching theme is AI in our daily lives, and it will cover various topics including building an AI ecosystem that is sustainable and reliable, emerging AI technology, PETs, free and safe cross-border data transfer, and interoperability.
